Competition Rules can be found in their entirety here and are simply reflected on this Devpost site for conveniece. This file is the official ruling document for this event, and any contradicting information will be settled by the wording in the official rules.

Team Eligibility

Students can compete in teams of up to 3 undergrad students or 2 grad students. There is a finite number of resources and spots available for this competition. Each Region 3 branch is entitled to send one team for the main competition, securing a guaranteed spot. Additionally, branches have the opportunity to send extra teams to participate in an open bracket. Open bracket teams will be eligible to compete based on the availability of resources.

AI Assistance

The use of of any online AI tools such as ChatGPT or others is prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from the competition.

Fair Play

Compete with integrity, honesty, and sportsmanship. Any form of cheating, theft, or sabotage is strictly forbidden.

Respect

All participants must show respect towards fellow competitors, organizers, judges, and equipment. Disrespectful behavior could lead to disqualification.

Timeliness

Adhere to the competition schedule. Submissions that are received after the deadline will not be judged.

Judge Decisions

All judge decision are final. Due to time constraints of the conference, there will be no opportunity for debate on rulings.
